POWER DRESSING has been synonymous with the garments brand major, Louis Philippe, ever since its launch in 1989. The Louis Philippe Upper Crest symbol has become the most identifiable visual signature of the brand.
While Louis Philippe has a range of trousers, blazers and accessories, it is best known for its formal shirts. Its target group is the status-conscious male in the age group of 25 to 40; someone who is a notch above others in terms of style, fashion and attitude.

The Louis Philippe Summer Collection called Riviera is inspired by the French vineyards and sun-drenched sands and yachts bobbing along the Riviera.
It marks a return to the whites, which, according to a market study, account for 11 per cent of the branded shirt market in the country. The shirts come in a wild outburst of bright checks, subtle raised lines, moonlit highlight and dancing dobbies in a riot of summer pastels. The Riviera collection is priced at between Rs. 999 to Rs. 1,499.
The Premium range of casualwear is just the thing for relaxing at the club or wearing to the favourite art bar. Impeccably styled, these are less formal and available in Ramie, Seersucker, 3-cotton checks, Indigo checks and twill. This series is priced at Rs. 999.
Golf shirts in 2-ply space dyed cotton can be had for Rs. 849. It's a collection of space dyeds, bird's eye structure with wrapper check design.
Its Orchid collection boasts of colourful shirts in over 35 different hues of mint, peach, mauve, chocolate brown and cerulean blue - each piece costing Rs. 999. Its Permapress wrinkle free shirts are priced at Rs. 1,999.
Louis Philippe has a collection of shirts in silk called `Signature in Silk'. These handspun silk shirts are crafted from cent per cent pure silk, dipped in distinct shades of muted greys and subtle creams, emerald green and deep maroon. They are available in the range of Rs. 1,595 and Rs. 1,995.
Shirts, full sleeve and short sleeve are priced the same.
The Louis Phillipe range of trousers is also available at the store.
Permapress trousers, crafted from 3-ply 80's cotton for a visible sheen and extra strength, cost Rs. 1,699. These have a durapress rating of 4 and are therefore, truly wrinkle-free. The trousers are 25 per cent lighter, have a gripper on the waistband to prevent sliding and come with single welt back pockets.
The light-weight formal trousers can be picked up for Rs. 1,099.
Semi formal khakis cost Rs. 1,299. Crafted from cent per cent cotton, these are wrinkle-free and come in flat fronts and pleated.
The Louis Phillipe collection also has a host of accessories. Ties cost anywhere between Rs. 495 and Rs. 1,295. Belts are vailable in the range of Rs. 599 to Rs. 749. A pair of socks can make the pocket lighter by Rs. 99 to Rs. 129.
