A view from the hills...

THE POPULAR hill station Mussoorie is a good destination for those wanting to take a break from the choking traffic and high paced life of Delhi and breathe in a draught of fresh, salubrious air of the hills overlooking the Doon valley. The Jaypee Residency Manor hotel here, located at Barlowgang is two kilometres short of the Mall and boasts of spacious rooms, measuring 400 square feet that offer luxury and privacy amidst a lush green environment.

Pradeep Kalra, Vice President, Jaypee Hotels, says: "Currently we are having 100 per cent room occupancy. For a couple and two kids below five years, a one-night package comes to Rs.4199. In this there is a pick-up and drop facility from the Dehra Dun railway station. Besides the welcome drink, there is a 20 per cent discount on food and beverages, one free steam and sauna."

Taken over in 1995 by the well-known Jaypee Hotel group from St.George's Academy, the Residency offers a range of physically enduring activities like trekking. Go for it if you are into adventure sports or simply want to remain fit. There is also a complimentary, state-of-the-art gymnasium, besides an indoor temperature-controlled swimming pool. Then there is a health club with a massage facility.

For late night revellers there is the hotel's discotheque to chill out. Here's a chance to take a break from the hectic, fast life of the Capital and get busy the healthy way.
