ANU MALIK said about this music, when the album was about to be released, "In this film, I am at my romantic best". If romance is something really peppy, gala and a fast track affair, then he is right. And "Teri Zingagi Main Chali Aayi" song proves it too, so does "Papa Ki Pari Hoon Main" that might make fathers feel proud and mothers, bewildered. But "Kasam Ki Kasam" is the best out the 10 numbers, five on each side. Others are average, forgettable, though temporarily hummable.
ROMANTICA

CARE TO listen to songs, which make you feel like taking a trip down memory lane? Then this is the cassette for you as the songs are of the `80s genre. The singer of the husky voice, Harshdeep Kaur, has been bestowed with an award by the MTV Video Ga Ga Contest. Her rendition of "Lambi Judai" is an absolute clincher as the singer's vocal chords have been used to a good extent. This song was sung in Subhash Ghai's film, "Hero".
Side A commences with "Tu Mila". The first song is average but "Haye-O-Rabba" is peppy. "Roothe Ho Tum" and "Aasman Se" are run-of-the-mill in terms of lyrics. "Lambi Judaai" puts the icing on the cake.
Side B starts off with "Ghungroo", which is a hummable number. "Aye Ishq" is a melancholy and romantic number. "Mere Humjolia" is a good enough song.
MOHE RAM DHUN LAAGI

THE MELODIOUS voice of reputed singer, Kavita Krishnamurty Subrmaniam will make devotees of Almighty Ram going into a spiritual trance. Her devotional songs are worth listening due to her melancholy voice and due to the fact that she hasn't treated these spiritual songs as numbers meant for entertainment.
Her first song of Side A, "Ram Ram Tu Bhaj Man" is soothing. The flow of words comes naturally to this distinguished singer. In "He Ram" she stretches the word, Ram similar to a classical singer making an alap. The last number has long lyrics "Logi Re Logi Mohe Ram Dhun La".
Side B, "Jai Shri Ram", "He Ram Shri Ram" and "Hridy Mein Ram Man Mein Ram", has songs, which can be best heard during morning prayers.
