Chess classes
A four-day `Summer chess coaching' classes, organised by the Quincy School in M.V.P. Colony, concluded on Friday. According to the headmistress of the school, M. Bhaskari, 50 students from different schools attended the camp.
The classes were conducted by G. Eswara Varma. Earlier, the classes were inaugurated by the VDCA president, Kandala Srinivasa Rao.
Aptitude test: The Visakha Institute of Competitions, Akkayyapalem, will conduct an aptitude test for students who aspire to join the Sainik Schools and the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun. The test will be held at the Whitefield School, Akkayyapalem on May 30. Interested students can register their names by ringing up 2549529.
