Teja taps Gulf

THE NEXT stop for the Telugu film industry is surely going to be the Gulf with nearly four lakh Andhraites living there. It is being viewed as the next potential market for Telugu films. Perhaps sensing, this director Teja has decided to celebrate the silver jubilee of Jayam and the audio release of Nijam in Dubai. He has also roped in Chiranjeevi to be the chief guest. Jayam appears to have done good business there and Chitram movies in collaboration with E R Events headed by NRI, Rambabu plan to host a cultural event in this connection. The programme also has R.P. Patnaik's musical nite. Mahesh Babu, Rakshita, Raasi, Nitin, Sada, Reema Sen and several other artistes are likely to participate in the programmes. The event will be held at Sharjah Cricket stadium on March 13 and in Kuwait on March 14.
