Out of place?

ONE CANNOT stop talking of the World Cup. Right? So can't Mandira Bedi, the co-anchor of the live telecasts on Sony Max. But why has the channel disturbed the shooting schedules of the TV actress? In spite of getting into the best of designer wear from Ritu Kumar, is Mandira feeling uneasy in the chair? Or so it seems! While host Charu Sharma steers his way through important matches in his customary cricket lingo with absolute ease, it's Mandira's rather amateurish comments that hit one hard on the ears. Thanks to the bandwagon of cricket heavyweights who manage to help her wade through!

Mandira Bedi shot to fame after her journalist-reformist role in the serial `Shanti' and then went on to clinch an equally interesting role in `Kyon Ki Saas... '. Wouldn't she do better in challenging roles in soaps, rather than don the role of a cricket anchor?
