Charity run
Over 70 runners and walkers participated in the event
INITIATING CHILDREN into charity-related activities is a tough job as most of the times the little ones can neither grasp nor understand the importance of the concept.
However, the International School of Hyderabad (ISH) succeeded in its attempts to get the tiny tots participate in the `ISH Charity 5-km Fun Run' recently.
This year, the children and parents chose the grounds of the ICRISAT Research Station at Patancheru.
While Jean Christopher Marechal was the first ISH parent to complete the run, he was closely followed by the leading high school student, Ashwin Appiah.
Over 70 runners and walkers participated in this popular annual event, with all the registration fees being donated to nominated charities in the city.
