Exclusive for executives

The recently introduced executive lunch package at Aditya Park Inn is a quick and economical option for those pressed for time.

MOST EXECUTIVES and hotshot technocrats would agree with Billy Joel when he sings of having "so much to do and only so many hours in a day." And while most of us in these days of instant Nirvana do not have the time to realise that Vienna is waiting, we are invariably loath to fritter away the hours in an offhand way especially the lunch hour.

It is precisely to address this need that pub lunches and executive lunches were born. And the latest to join the club is Aditya Park Inn (6788888) at Ameerpet. In addition to the lavish buffet with a choice of soup, salads, desserts and vegetarian and non-vegetarian main courses and the a la carte menu, the Promenade in Aditya Park Inn now also offers executive lunches.

"The guest can choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian," says Mausam Bhattacharjee, Sales Manager. The pre-plated meals offer a South Indian, a Chinese and three North-Indian options.

While a vegetable, dal, rice, roti and dessert are common; the non-veggies can indulge in a chicken dish in addition.

"We started the buffet to cater to executives. They are always short of time and this is way of having a quick meal that is economical as well," Bhattacharjee says. "The total time a guest spends on our executive lunch is 45 minutes."

With portions being restricted, the lunch is filling without making you feel stuffed.

The last thing anybody would want is to visit a client feeling like a python that has just devoured a deer.

Since its inception in September, Bhattacharjee says more than 30 per cent have opted for executive lunches. The lunch much is available from Monday to Saturday at Rs 90 for vegetarian and Rs 100 non-vegetarian.

So, the next time you are short of time and want a quick bite head straight for the P floor and indulge at the Promenade.
