Looks that get looks...

BASED IN Kolkata, she has recently become a member of Delhi's fashion fraternity. Babita Sharma, known by her first nomenclature, is trying to create a niche for herself in this big bad world of fashion, where the big fish swallows up the smaller ones. She says, " I specialise in bridal collection and it is my passion to bedeck a bride with trousseau collection."

In Bride and Groom collection, to be held from August 21 to 26 at Delhi's Taj Palace, Babita will exhibit her creations. She says, "I will present trousseau collection which includes zardosi, sequence walk (embroidery) and 36 kalis. Also I will showcase 20 to 30 lehngas. The main item has been kept under wraps though." She is likely to charge from Rs. 25,000 to 60,000 for her dresses.

Her concept motif and colour combination are said to be unique. A multicoloured sequence kurta with long motifs, stitched in an Indo-Western style is a claimed to be perfect attire for those venturing out for adventures like late night-dos. Her range pays obeisance to Indian woman, who has the innate grace of dressing. Get ready for looks that get you looks.
