THE ROOF For The Roofless is a voluntary organisation dedicated to rural development, founded by Dr. Chandran Devanesan, former principal of Madras Christian College. His dream was to set up a rural college and that dream will be realised when the Dr. Chandran Devanesan Rural Community College is inaugurated today at Karanai Village, Navallur Post, at 5.00 p.m.
The college aims at training students in courses in computer software, nursing assistant and two wheeler mechanics. Students who have passed SSLC and Higher Secondary School Certificate are eligible to apply.
