The ice cream feast from Kwality Walls saw an enthusiastic crowd enjoying new flavours of the season.

ASK A Hyderabadi about the dollops, choc-o-bars, duets, softies and sundaes and one word that sums up the vox populi is `must have', irrespective of the season. It is no wonder that the people gathered for the Consumer Feast at Lop Stop on Liberty X Roads to try out the new flavour `Vanilla Gold' a creamy premium slice from the Kwality Walls very apt in times when gold has become dear.

Apart from providing a taste of the new ices, the `Dare to compare' challenge where the consumer had the chance to taste other brands and judge the new product, was the ice cream houses' novel effort to reinforce the `dil ka connection' with the people.

``The idea has been to create the awareness about the brand and increase the consumption," says an official from Kwality Walls. About 400 people walked into the outlet for the `blind taste' session who found the new product smooth and creamy and also since it was vanilla, one of the popular flavours in the twin cities. Others flavours on offer are butterscotch, strawberry, rum and raisin, choc-o-bar and pista. The 750 ml take-home brick comes for Rs 65.

``We are frequent at the ice cream parlours. We also take home the ice cream round the year," says Sandhya at the ice cream feast. For Rohan Reddy, a 12 std student, a thrice a week visit to the ice-cream shop to dig into the pista, butter scotch or vanilla scoop is part of his weekly curriculum and he is always on the lookout for latest ices to try out.

The other new flavours to hit the market this season from Kwality Walls are Jamaican Magic-rum and raisin with the coffee topping and the Hawaiian Bliss-black currant with strawberry at the Super Cornetto range. While the layered dream dessert Viennetta, once imported from Egypt is one of the exotic nouveau flavours for the season available at the Kwality Walls outlets in the twin cities.

While at the outlet, one can redeem their previous points totalling to 150 for their gifts (on the scratch card) at the `Ek din ka raja' contest, which is extended up to June 15. With the first prize of Rs 10 lakh worth of shopping in Mumbai in 24 hours, the other prizes include microwave ovens, video games, watches, Estelle jewellery and more. As they say, try out the new flavours of the ices this season especially when the sun shines.
