"GURU SHISHYA", the Nehru Centre's annual exhibition of Indian Master Artists, which opened last week (on till January 4) is the eighth in the series of annual retrospectives at their Art Gallery. This year's artists are Kalatapasvi Shri Baba Gajbar and Kalatapasvi Shri Ganpatrao Wadangekar. His pupil, Wadangekar is a water colourist and considered to be a living legend.

THE just-concluded India Sabka Youth Mela is being followed up with a seminar (December 22) at the YMCA, Bombay Central on the topic, "Constitution and Minority Identity: A Post Gujarat Perspective".
Panelists include the poet/writer-activist Meher Pestonji who also read extracts from her new novel Pervez, a Harper Collins publication.

PSYCHOTHERAPIST Andrew Pinto and his team have just returned from Lonavla. They held a programme for a company called "Geometric Software" to get two teams working together after months of conflict that they'd been experiencing. The four-member team, qualified in psychiatry and counselling from the States and the U.K., hold regular workshops in Mumbai, Pune and specially tailored ones on order in other Indian cities.

KAIVALYADHAM, the globally-renowned institute of yoga is holding an international conference (December 28-31) at its sprawling Lonavla campus.
Justice M B Shah of the Mumbai High Court has been invited to formally inaugurate the conference which is being attended by delegates from the world over.
