The week ahead

VENUS moves into Cancer at 13:28 GMT on Monday, May 20, and the Sun moves into the Gemini sector of the sky on Tuesday, May 21 at 5:30 GMT.

The intense Saturn-Pluto opposition that has caused disruption around the globe since August 2001 reaches its crescendo at 2:34 GMT on Sunday, May 26, bringing to a close the period of severe tests, entanglements and delays experienced by all on Planet Earth.

The week culminates with a potent lunar eclipse later on Sunday. The annular eclipse of the Sagittarius Full Moon by the Gemini Sun lasts from 11:52 GMT to 12:04 GMT on Sunday, May 26. Its proximity to the Saturn-Pluto opposition (fewer than 10 hours later) portends unexpected events and surprising reversals.
