Reality?

THIS was an unusual sort of request. And even as the court heard Pradeep Dalvi, author of the controversial play "Mee Nathuram Godse Boltoy", there was a spate of criticism stemming from other quarters that termed Dalvi's request to now ban his play as a ploy to create controversy. The play has in fact been the highlight of a series of appeals and counter appeals with the censor board even before it hit the arc lights. Author Dalvi appealed then saying that the play was about the life and times of Gandhi and was not intended to provoke. However, Dalvi has now changed his tune and has asked the court to put a ban on the play in the light of the current situation in Gujarat.
