FINALLY as a nation we have come to terms with the alarming spectre of AIDS and we have also decided to tackle this very sensitive and difficult subject by using the media.

Getting into the box, literally, are Neena Gupta and Mallika Sarabhai equally known for their independent view on life. Sarabhai said that talking about sex is taboo in India though doing it is absolutely alright. She felt that the incredulous attitude of adult silence on matters pertaining to sex has played a large part in the rising epidemic of HIV positive people. Gupta agreed with this point of view and said that most people in the country would not talk about sexual issues freely, specially on television.
