A hot property

RAGHU MUKHERJEE is no longer just another hunk seen prowling along our Brigade and M.G. roads. He is now India's hottest property, at least for the next one year.

Mr. Mukherjee became Grasim Mr. India just a couple of days ago. The high-voltage event at the Palace Grounds had 30 men at their physically-fit best, strutting their stuff before an admiring (and occasionally cat-calling) crowd.

Mr. Mukherjee's fellow winners were Jaspal Sehgal from Mumbai (first runner-up) and Ahmedabadi Saumik Rau (second runner-up).

A host of glamorous people descended on the City to judge the contestants. These included Abhishek Bachchan, Raveena Tandon, Aditi Gowritrikar, Aryan Vaid, Karan Johar and Tarun Tahiliani.
