A career in news reading and anchoring does not necessarily require any specific professional or technical qualifications. However, you can opt for a postgraduate diploma in radio and TV journalism, which is offered by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), NewDelhi or the short-term course for newsreaders in English offered bythe Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) and the DelhiUniversity, New Delhi. Aerospace engineers design, develop and test aircraft, spacecraft and missiles, and supervise their manufacturing . Aerospace engineers who work with aircrafts are considered aeronautical engineers, and those working specifically with spacecrafts are considered astronautical engineers.

You can find employment with government agencies such as Hindustan Aeronautical Ltd., Indian Space Research Organisation andvarious research and defence labs.

The Indian Air Force and airlinessuch as Air India, Indian Airlines and other private airlines employaeronautical engineers for aircraft maintenance.
