    Governor accords Glory of Gujarat awards to four recipients

    Ahmedabad (PTI): Gujarat Governor Naval Kishor Sharma on Saturday accorded 'Glory of Gujarat Awards' instituted by an NGO Indian Council of Social Welfare to four recipients of different fileds for their humanitarian services.

    The awards were given to renowed industrialist and Chairman of Ganesh Group Govindbhai Patel, renowned advocate and president, Vishwa Gujarat Samaj Krishnakant Vakharia, internationally acclaimed painter Babulal Soni and newfrologist based in the US Dr Jayesh Patel for his selfless service for senior citizens.

    Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Shaktisinh Gohil and former Chief Secretary of the state P K Laheri were present at the function.
