Rescued: Man trapped in collapsed hospital for 139 hrs

BEICHUAN, China (AP): China's official Xinhua News Agency says a man has been found alive after being trapped for 139 hours in collapsed hospital in Sichuan province.

Xinhua said Sunday Tang Xiong was rescued from the collapsed hospital in Beichuan in the northern part of the province.

It said Tang ``was only slightly bruised'' when he was pulled to safety. The government says it expects the final death toll from Monday's massive earthquake to pass 50,000.
