    Advani, Rahul, Modi campaign in Karnataka

    Bangalore (PTI): Electioneering for the third and final phase of assembly polls in Karnataka, slated for May 22, is gaining momentum with leaders of political parties racing against time to reach out to as many areas as possible.

    Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will be addressing public meetings at Bidar, Jamkhandi and Belgaum Sunday.

    Senior BJP leader L K Advani who has been toiling to ensure his party's victory at the husting is continuing electioneering in parts of Raichur and Belgaum.

    Advani and other BJP leaders have been focussing on North Karnataka region districts as the party derives greater degree of strength from here.

    At least two BJP MPs - Ramesh Jigajinagi and Basavanagouda Yatnal are contesting from Hukkeri in Belgaum and Devarahippargi in Bijapur.

    Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is the other star campaigner for BJP, who has been straining nerves, engaging himself in a busy schedule.

    Modi is campaigning in parts of Hubli, Bijapur and Bidar.
