Promoting young talents

Balaganamrutham, an institution to promote young talents in the field of Carnatic music through their chamber concerts has agreed with YACM to provide an opportunity for young artists to perform at their chamber concerts and annual festival.

The following is the list of chamber concerts scheduled for July 26 and August 23 to be held at 1-C, Indrani Ammal Street, Sullivans Garden Road, Mylapore.

July 26: K.Bharath Kumar (vocal), M. Rajeev (violin) and Tanjore Praveen Kumar (mridangam); Aug, 23: Sriranjani Santhanagopalan (vocal), M.S.Ananthakrishnan (violin) and Srivanchiam Sriram (mridangam).

Balaganamrutham’s annual festival monsoon music marvel for this year is scheduled to take place from September 26, at Sastri Hall, Luz, Mylapore.
