Tribute to Ghantasala
In memory of the legendary light music singer, Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala’s (the daughter-in-law of the singer) Kala Pradarshini will present ‘Gana Gandharva,’ a ballet of his evergreen film songs, on July 6, 6 p.m., at the Music Academy.
Also, Sharathchandra from Hyderabad will offer a vintage treat of Ghantasala’s film numbers.
The event coincides with the 10th anniversary of Kala Pradarshini.
Playback singer S. Janaki will be the chief guest of the evening.
