Two new albums


Geethanjali has brought out Live Classical Vocal — two volumes of concerts of vocalist Prema Rangarajan, recorded live.

One album contains songs of great composers, including the Trinity. On side two of the album, there is a a recital that has been dedicated to the Paramacharya to mark his birthday.

The other album has concerts dedicated to Papanasam Sivan and the Lord Ranganatha.

The accompanists for the albums are Padma Shankar, Amritha Murali, Melakkaveri Thyagarajan, Kallidaikurichi Sivakumar, Melakkaveri Balaji and Guruprasad. The mellifluous rendition makes listening to it a pleasure.
