New albums: Classical music.

Geethanjali has brought out Live Classical Vocal — two volumes of concerts, recorded live, of vocalist Prema Rangarajan.

One album contains songs of great composers, including the trinity, on the one side and a recital dedicated to the Paramacharya to mark his birthday.

The other album has concerts dedicated to Papanasam Sivan and Lord Ranganatha.

The accompanists are Padma Shankar, Amritha Murali, Melakkaveri Thyagarajan, Kallidaikurichi Sivakumar, Melakkaveri Balaji and Guruprasad.

The mellifluous rendition makes listening an aural pleasure.
