Consecration

The maha kumbabishekam of the Sri Sahasra Shiva Linga Murthy (both Aavudaiyar and Sahasralingam) and Sudarsana Murthy will be on January 20, 2008.

The vigraham, a 10 feet high black granite with 1007 mini lingams engraved all around the main Mahalingam, weighs 35 metric tonnes. The ‘Yantra Prathishta’ for the Sri Sahasra Shiva Linga Murthy will take place on December 16, at 10.30 a.m.

Necessary japam and homam are to be performed on December 15.
