DVD release

Subhashini and A. Chandrasekaran, lecturers, Music Department, Annamalai University, have organised a function to release a Bharatanatyam DVD based on the sampradayam of Thanjai M. Arunachalam Pillai.

The function will take place at Raga Sudha Hall, Luz, Mylapore, on December 9, Sunday, 6.30 p.m.

Prof. C.V.Chandrasekhar, Bharatanatyam exponent and former head, Dance department, University of Baroda and Varanasi, will preside and release the DVD.

Nandini Ramani, Bharatanatyam artiste and art critic, will receive the first copy.
