Sudharani Raghupathy

The premiere performance of‘ Alekhya: Spilling Ink,’ will be dedicated to Prof. Sudharani Raghupathy, founder-trustee, Shree Bharatalaya, who will be the guest of honour of the evening, on November 23, 7 p.m., at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, East Mada Street, Mylapore.

The honour is in recognition of Sudharani Raghupathy’s significant contribution to Bharatanatyam.

She celebrates her 60th year of dance this year. And as an acknowledgement to her service to Kuchipidi, K. Uma Rama Rao, founder-director, Lasya Priya, Hyderabad, will be the guest of distinction.

After the performance, Vijay Palaparty will share his notes with the audience (8.40 p.m.) and Sudhrani Raghupathy’s remarks (8.45 p.m.) will be followed by those of Uma Rama Rao’s at 8.55 p.m.
