Make way for Venky
Charmi and Nayantara (Chandramukhi) come together in the Venkatesh starrer Lakshmi. The muhurat was held at Suresh Productions' office here recently. Directed by V.V.Vinayak and produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) for Lakshmi Narasimha Productions, the film goes into production shortly with shooting likely to begin from August 21. Akula Siva pens the story, with Chota.K. Naidu on cinematography. Ramana Gogula composes music for the flick.
New kid on the block
Kaveri Jha, Miss India 2005 contestant makes her foray in tinselville with a Telugu film. Nandamuri Kalyanram, post super hit Athanokkade, plays the lead. Asaadhyudu, incidentally his latest flick, is likely to be produced on the banner of NTR Arts. Debutant director Anil wields megaphone with Ramprasad behind the camera. Manisharma does music score for the film that will hit the floor in the third week of August.
A bilingual film
Bhogavalli Prasad, currently producing Chatrapati with Prabhas in the lead and directed by Rajamouli has yet another film on the board. This time with the national award-winning artiste Vikram who is basking in the success Aparichitudu. The film, a bilingual will be produced simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu directed by Gunasekhar, with music score from Harris Jairaj and cinematography by Shekhar.V. Joseph. Shooting for the film is scheduled for first half of 2006.
`Happy' times ahead
Allu Arjun and Genelia D'Souza come together for Allu Aravind's forthcoming flick for Geeta Arts. Happy, the tentative title for the flick, has director Karunakaran at the helm and tunes from Yuan Shankar Raja. Shooting of the same is likely to start soon. After three successive hits Gangotri, Arya and Bunny, Allu Arjun plans to bag some more happiness with this one. --
