Remembering Mani


IT IS one year since musician Mani Krishnaswami passed away. A commemoration volume, compiled and edited by T. S. Parthasarathy, will be released on July 12 at a function organised at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore at 5.30 p.m. C. V. Narasimhan, former Under Secretary General, U.N., will preside and release the volume in the presence of guests of honour S. Rajaram (Director, Kalakshetra), Sulochana Pattabhiraman, and B. R. Kumar (Dy. Director General, Prasar Bharati, Chennai). Homage to Mani Krishnaswami will follow a concert by her disciples.
