"Dhool"... can Vikram deliver the goods?
THE SUCCESS of ``Dhil'' has inspired the entire unit, led by director Dharani, to work overtime to make Sri Surya Movies's ``Dhool" a box-office hit. Dharani feels the pressure of success and the expectations it brings along with it. ``My movies were always different in a number of ways," said Dharani when this writer caught up with him shooting in the heart of the city with leading stars Vikram, Jyotika, Vivek in attendance. ``The success of ``Dhill'' has increased my responsibility," the director continued. ``I must see to it that my fans, who are eagerly awaiting the release of this film, are satisfied. And I'm sure that `Dhool' will not disappoint them. It will have all the ingredients of a commercial success and I have tried to be different in many ways. One can see Vikram handling a role in a more mature way. Jyothika and Reema Sen are bound to be a treat to watch. This will be another successful film for the producer A. M. Rathnam."
Shooting for three songs are to done in Denmark and the fight sequence is to be shot to be in London. But the major portion has been taken in the city where a big set has been erected.
Mayilsamy, Sayaji Shinde, Chittibabu and Kotachi complete the cast. Cinematography is handled by Gopinath. Dialogue is written by Barathan. Music is composed by Vidyasagar. Editing is done by Lenin V. T. Vijayan. Lyrics are written by Arivumathi, Kabilan, Pa. Vijai and Na. Muthukumar. Art direction is done by Maniraj. Dance has been choreographed by Kalyan. `Rocky' Rajesh has taken care of the fights. Story, screenplay and direction have been handled by Dharani.
