BSNL to announce new tariff rates
Jaipur
Nov. 17.
The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will announce new tariff rates for its bouquet of services this month, the Chairman and Managing Director of the company, Prithpal Singh, said today.
``Since the IUC (Inter-connectivity User Charges) has been changed, we are looking into tariff structures also. The new tariff rates will be announced within this month,'' he said. The new rates would apply to all the services provided by the BSNL.
The company had waived charges for shifting of fixed line telephones while a new Internet scheme for students was on the anvil, he said.
The Internet scheme for students would be announced within this month. The BSNL is starting the Internet service here this week. The system allows the subscriber to have the telephone number as password for the connection.
