Fishermen released

Islamabad Nov. 4. Pakistan and India today released 167 fishermen languishing in their prisons. Seventy-four Indian fishermen were freed in Karachi, while India released 93 Pakistani fishermen held in prisons in Porbandar, Pakistani officials said.

The Indian fishermen were handed over to the Naval Attache in the Indian High Commission, Capt. Ravidra Barutrahari Pandit.

The fishermen set sail in their boats along with an escort of the Pakistan Navy. — PTI
