IT Dept. redress fortnight

HYDERABAD July 16. A Grievance Redressal Fortnight is being organised by the AP region Income Tax Department from Jul. 15 to 31, according to an official press release.

During this period petitions relating to issue of refunds, rectification/ modification orders and Appellate effects pending, transfer of records, as well as any other matter which has been pending with the department for a long period of time would be taken up. Grievances relating to PAN cards and relating to issue of refunds for assessment year 2002-03 are excluded from the scope of this grievance fortnight.

Grievance petitions can be filed between 11 am and 1.30 pm and between 2.30 and 4.30 pm on all working days of this 'fortnight'. Further information can be had from Public Relations Officer, IT Department, Aaykar Bhavan, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad on phone number 2382899.
