Actor injured

Kolkata July 16. The shooting of the yet-to-be named film of director Mani Rathnam was disrupted here this evening when actor Vivek Oberoi met with an accident during a chase sequence and the director complained of chest pain soon after. Both were rushed to hospital where they were declared out of danger.

According to the script, Oberoi on foot is chased by the villain on a motorcycle. He was supposed to veer away from the onrushing vehicle, but before he could do that the motorcycle skidded and knocked him down.
