PSC age bar not to be lowered

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM JULY 10. The Government has no proposal to lower the age limit for submitting applications for various posts notified by the Public Service Commission (PSC), the Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, told the Assembly today.

The Chief Minister said the Cabinet sub-committee constituted to study the issue had recommended against lowering the age limit. The proposal, he pointed out, was mooted by the administrative reforms committee constituted by the Nayanar Government.
