A house for Ms. Jones

LONDON: Post-Grammy, Norah Jones is all set to move up the social ladder. The velvet-voiced singer has splurged $1.3 million on a swanky penthouse. The singer, whose hit album `Come Away With Me' earned her five Grammys earlier this year, has moved out of her scruffy $350-a-month flat above a barber shop in Brooklyn to a luxury pad in Manhattan's Cooper Square. Guess she needs room to accommodate her trophies and gongs! — ANI
