Traffic diverted for work on flyovers

BANGALORE June 27. The City police have diverted vehicular traffic for the construction of flyovers on Airport Road at its junctions with Intermediary Ring Road, Bangalore Dairy, and Central Silk Board.

The City Police Commissioner, S. Mariswamy, has issued notifications in this regard. Another notification says that parking of vehicles on certain stretches of 6th Cross, HAL II Stage, has been banned.

The road width is inadequate between the B.B. Nagar Main Road junction and Airport Road, the notification adds.

Entry of heavy and light commercial vehicles has also been banned on this road.
