NRI admissions for BE, B.Tech

CHENNAI JUNE 27. The Directorate of Technical Education has invited applications from non-resident Indians for admissions to BE/B.Tech courses in government engineering colleges, a press release said today.

Candidates who have not completed 21 years as on July 1 and have passed the qualifying examination under the Indian system or any equivalent examination recognised by the Anna University are eligible to apply, it said.

Application forms and information brochures may be obtained in person from the DoTE office or downloaded from www.tndte.com.

Completed application forms with a fee of US $ 200 in the form of a bank draft drawn on any nationalised bank payable to the Director of Technical Education should be sent to the DoTE, Sardar Patel Road, Chennai - 600025. The envelope should be marked `Application for admission to BE/B.Tech degree courses under NRI quota', the release said.

The forms and brochures will be available from June 30, and last date for receipt of application is July 31.
