Cambridge dictionary now on CD-ROM

BANGALORE JUNE 27. The Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary, which was released recently, has attempted to make the task of looking up words a lot easier. There are 1,70,000 words, phrases, and examples with over 10,000 idioms and phrasal verbs, which have been highlighted. Over 1,000 new words and meanings have been added.

There is an `Idiom finder' which makes finding complicated idioms easy. The guide words help find the right meaning fast. The dictionary is also available on CD-ROM.

The dictionary in paperback is priced at Rs. 410, and with CD-ROM it costs Rs. 495. The hardback with CD-ROM is priced at Rs. 595.
