CHENNAI: The Bangalore-based Convergent Communications has introduced a new product Cosmos-G for connectivity of ATMs over GPRS or CDMA infrastructure. Cosmos-G is a cost-effective solution for connecting legacy devices across wireless networks using GSM/GPRS technology. It can also be deployed to establish communication between the point of sales terminals (ATM's, money exchange counters and the like) and the central server using Internet, says a press release. — Our Bureau
