George Thomas bags silver

KOCHI JUNE 19. Arjuna Awardee George Thomas won a silver medal at the first Senior World badminton championships, organised by the International Badminton Federation in Sofia (Bulgaria).

George, a manager with BPCL, won the men's doubles silver partnering Bhushan Akut and a singles bronze in the above-35 years category at the championship which concluded on June 15.
