By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE JUNE 18. The City Police Commissioner, S.Mariswamy, on Wednesday said that the City Crime Branch (CCB) would have an "Organised Crime Wing'' to tackle organised crimes in the City.

He told presspersons here that the new Wing would have two Assistant Commissioners of Police and function under the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime). With this, the practice of constituting special squads at the time of exigencies would be done away with, he added.

The new set-up would be given all facilities and equipped with all modern infrastructure, including computers.
