Western Union ties up with AFL

By Our Staff Reporter

CHENNAI JUNE 18. Western Union Financial Services Inc. has tied up with AFL/WIZ to offer its `home delivery' services to 400 cities in India. This would enable Western Union customers to benefit from the added convenience of receiving money at their doorsteps from their relatives living abroad at no extra charge. The home delivery option is available to senders from all Western Union agent locations in the world. The delivery to the receiver's home is generally made within one business day. Customers receiving a transaction through the home delivery option will obtain their money through crossed check or demand draft and must have a copy of their identification card with them.
