Man found dead in theatre showing 'Bhoot'

New Delhi June 18. A middle-aged man was found dead in a theatre in south Delhi showing Ram Gopal Verma-directed horror movie Bhoot late on Monday night, police said today.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Vivek Gogia, told UNI that the unidentified man, around 45 years, was found dead on a seat of Paras theatre in Nehru Place by the cleaning staff after the night show.

No injury mark was found on the body, suggesting that he could have died of heart attack during the show. But a post-mortem would be carried out after he is identified.

It would be known only after the post-mortem whether the man died during the show or thereafter and due to what reason.

Mr. Gogia said so far no body has come forward to identify or claim the body. Police suspect that the presence of people in the theatre could have been very less due to which the man got unnoticed.

Bhoot, starring Rekha, Urmila Matondkar, Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar, Seema Biswas and Fardeen Khan, is a thriller about a possessed housewife and is set in a high-rise Bombay apartment.
