Immolation threat

Jammu June 17. About 168 Pandit families, which had migrated to Jammu after the Nadimarg carnage, today threatened to "self-immolate" themselves if the Mufti Government failed to register them as migrants within a week.

"We have no hope on the Mufti Government, which is soft on militants, and in this situation, we will have to resort to "self immolation", Kamlesh Handloo, a representative of the migrants said today.
