I-T returns filing date extended

NEW DELHI JUNE 17. The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the due date for filing the return of income by individual assessees falling within the meaning of Explanation 2(c) of Section 139(1) of the Income tax Act, 1961 from July 31, 2003 till September 30, 2003 for the assessment year 2003-04.
