THIRUVANANTHAPURAM June 14. With the objective of bringing together on a common platform, professionals from different media, a new organisation has been formed in Thiruvananthapuram.

The "Media Country Wide'' is a forum of media persons of real attitude, informed A.Prabhakaran and K.Balachndran, the Chairman and Secretary, respectively, of the organisation.

Professional excellence in the media field should be put to better use in the greater interests of the country and the forum would strive to achieve this.

Extending media support to day today developments in the areas of education, culture and development and giving due recognition to media persons who excel in the professional were the other major objectives of the "Media County Wide'', they informed.
