Political initiative hailed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM June 14. The Confederation of Residents Associations (CONFRA) has welcomed the political initiative to secure a High Court Bench in the capital city.

In a pressnote here today, the CONFRA general secretary, K.P.Karunakaran Nair, hailed the MPs representing Thriuvananthapuram and Chirayinkeezhu and the MLAs representing constituencies in Thiruvananthapuram for meeting the Chief Justice and other judges of the High Court to seek their support for the establishment of a High Court Bench.

It also welcomed the Chief Minister's support for the move.
