Indira Krishnamurthy passes away

Bangalore June 14. Indira Krishnamurthy (92), known for her translations of books from Kannada to Hindi, died here on Friday. She was given a national award for her translation of A.N.Murthy Rao's book, "Sanjaya Kannina Nota," published in Hindi as "Jeevan Sandhya Mein Simha Avalokan". Her son and daughter were with her when she died.
