No BIE recognition for five junior colleges

HYDERABAD June 14. The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has not recognised the following Junior Colleges, according to the Regional Inspection Officer, Twin Cities, G. R. K. V. Prasada Rao.

In a press release issued here on Saturday he said Goutham Junior College, Old City, Narayana Junior College, Secunderabad, Vijayawada Nalanda Junior College, Secunderabad, Sri Chaitanya Junior College, S.R. Nagar, and Guntur Vikas Junior College, Habsiguda, were not recognised by the BIE and cautioned parents, students and general public not to admit students into these colleges.

The RIO in a separate release requested the junior colleges to collect hall tickets, D-forms, photo identity attendance sheets, college nominal rolls, timetable copies, OMR bar code sheets, blank OMR forms, main answer books, additional answer books immediately for conducting the Intermediate Advance Supplementary Public Examinations. The RIO office would work on Sunday also to distribute the above material, he added.
